TERAWORK bags Africa’s Prize One-to-Watch Award

We are pleased to announce that TERAWORK has won the One-to-Watch award at the just concluded 2021/2022 Royal Academy of Engineering Africa Prize for Engineering Innovation programme.

Our CEO, Femi Taiwo pitched the platform to an audience of 2,000 people representing 80 countries, and was selected as the audience favourite. The Award is given to the member of the Africa Prize shortlist that has the most potential for impact in Africa, and has only been awarded twice – both times to Nigerian innovators.

The Africa Prize for Engineering Innovation, which was established in 2014 by the Royal Academy of Engineering in the United Kingdom, is Africa’s largest prize dedicated to engineering innovation and has a track record of finding successful engineering entrepreneurs.

It is now in its eighth year of supporting exceptional Sub-Saharan African entrepreneurs with engineering ideas that address critical community challenges in novel ways.

This Award recognises the potential of TERAWORK’s innovation to create economic opportunities through sustainable talent supply. We are still very committed to creating a seamless and innovative atmosphere where businesses thrive by having easy access to the perfect needed talents.

Since 2018, TERAWORK has been on the forefront of actively changing the landscape of the African freelance marketplace.
